For those of you just arriving, the first episode on the history of the ultimate machine is here<\/a>, the second on the makers is here<\/a> and the third, which tells the whole story, is here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n Did you know that there’s a town called“La Machine<\/a>“? <\/p>\n\n It’s in the Ni\u00e8vre region and owes its name to a machine called the baritel, which they used in the past to extract coal.<\/p>\n\n Its inhabitants are called Machinois and Machinoises. <\/p>\n\n “I bought myself a machine <\/a>La Machine – Dani<\/a><\/p>\n\n In the previous newsletter I forgot to include a few links to Lo\u00efc’s work. Here they are: <\/p>\n\n Here are a few progress photos and a video showing some of the problems with the switch<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n You’ll remember that it still needed to be tested, but now it’s done: it works very well.\nThank you Philippe, thank you Paul! <\/p>\n\n All that remains is to make a few for those who have ordered a Paper-toy, and to offer it in two other formats: for the “Classic” edition and for the “Lego” edition.<\/p>\n\n I constantly have, supposedly, more important things to do than concentrate on subjects such as positioning, targets, visual communication, slogans, sales strategy or advertising budget…<\/p>\n\n But I take care of myself.<\/p>\n\n Rather than go it alone and pretend to reinvent marketing, I decided to do things “by the book”, as the Americans say.\nAnd I chose this book<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n So now, watch out!\nThe serious business begins.\nWe’re on the fast track to success and fortune (provided we follow the book’s method, of course). <\/p>\n\n You see, I’ve learned my lesson.<\/p>\n\n For example, here’s a first example of an advertisement (thanks S\u00e9verine<\/a> for the texts and slogans). <\/p>\n\n As for the visuals, i.e. the product photos, the photos of the product in situation and the video, I was waiting to receive the mock-up produced by MPA-Proto.<\/p>\n\n Here it is. <\/p>\n\n I have no excuse now. <\/p>\n\n That’s all for today, but before you head back to the beach, I’d like to take two minutes of your time to find out your target profile.<\/p>\n\n I’m a bit ashamed to call you that, but in the marketing world that’s what we call our friends!<\/p>\n\n <\/a>What \ud83c\udfaf am I?<\/a><\/p>\n\n Thank you, friends, and see you soon!<\/p>\n\n Olivier<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello, Here’s some midsummer news.
